Hometown Publications, with offices in Milwaukee and Germantown, opened for business in 1992 with the company's first publication, the Germantown News. Under the leadership of company President, Ken Ubert, the company has grown, both through acquisitions of other Milwaukee papers, and through start up papers in Milwaukee's suburbs. Today the circulation include free delivery to over 362,000 homes and businesses in the metropolitan area.
The company's motto "Your first source for local news, advertising and printing" has been the blueprint for the success of the company which publishes community newspapers, each focusing on the local issues in its coverage area.
In addition to the company's 18 newspapers and several business to business publications, Hometown Publications offers full printing services, web advertising opportunities, web page design and the sale of promotional novelty items.
Today, nearly a decade after Hometown Publications start, it continues to grow into new markets in the five county Milwaukee metropolitan area. |
